Our physicians are in the prime years of their practice life. They have the expertise and knowledge based on an excellent education (Emory) with continuing education on the newest techniques and latest technology available. Dr. Keith West joined the practice just one year after it was opened. Soon after, Dr. Michael McNeel join the practice to continue to support the growing need in the northern Georgia communities for both plastic and reconstructive surgery. With a new accredited operating suite and two board certified plastic surgeons, Marietta Plastic Surgery became a leading plastic and reconstructive center for the northern Atlanta area. In fact, they are not purely cosmetic in the patients that they treat. They still see many patients that need reconstructive procedures whether from trauma, birth defects or disease (cancer). Recently they asked a specialist in Breast Reconstruction to join them. Dr. Thaddeus Fabian joins them after completing one of only three programs in the country that trains in the latest DIEP technique for reconstruction of the Breast after cancer. Dr. Fabian is the only plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Atlanta to offer this type of Breast Reconstruction.

The surgery center in any board certified plastic surgery practice is required to be certified by only one of the accrediting agencies -- AAAHC, AAAASF, or JAHCO. Marietta Plastic Surgery meets and surpasses these requirements by having both AAAASF and state certification.

Our staff has a history of long employment, a sure sign of strong practice ethics and standards. Patient care with excellent customer service is the focus of our staff. Our patients frequently comment on the friendly "southern" welcome they receive from our patient receptionists. Our patient coordinators are always ready to answer questions or just listen before, during or after your consultation. And our nurses provide the care and attention to every detail when it comes to our patients.

We have two locations - Marietta and Woodstock. We recently opened our Woodstock office offering consultations, patient visits and skin and laser services.

Accreditations AAAASF/STATE
We are proud of our national accreditation with the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF). But what does AAAASF mean to you?

First it means that patient safety and welfare are our first priority. The AAAASF performs frequent inspections. We must continually demonstrate that we maintain the highest standards of care as set by the AAAASF. It also means that the highest national level for ambulatory surgery centers approves of our standards of care. We voluntarily submit to AAAASF inspections to assure us we are doing everything in our power to make each patient's experience the best it can be.

Because we are an AAAASF accredited facility we are able to attract highly skilled and experienced staff. We have more control over scheduling to meet individual patient needs. We maintain a facility that truly is state-of-the-art with equipment and supplies that are routinely inspected for safety and quality to make your procedure goes smoothly. Wherever you elect to obtain your care, be sure that it has a system of inspections by an outside agency (such as AAAASF) that sets the standard of care at the highest national level.

Payment Options and Fee Structure
Marietta Plastic Surgery strives to offer affordable pricing in conjunction with quality and experience. Unfortunately, few cosmetic procedures are covered by traditional health care policies. Payment in full is due at your pre-operative visit which usually is 7 to 10 days prior to your surgical procedure.

Available payment options are cash, check, Master/Card, VISA or financing. Our financing option is through a national company, and approval/denial can be obtained within 48 hours of completing an application.

Payment includes the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia fees, operating room fee and supplies fees. It may also include other services such as laser usage or special post-operative garment needs. These fees are itemized on a written surgical quote that is provided with each consultation.

If a revision of your surgical procedure is required, our policy is that no surgeon’s fee will be charged. Any anesthesia fees or operating room supplies that are needed will be the patient’s responsibility.

If a procedure is canceled less than two weeks prior to your scheduled date, a fee of 10% will be charged. If a procedure is canceled less than a week prior to the scheduled date, a fee of 20% will be charged.

Insurance Coverage
We accept most major insurances for payment of medical procedures. Cosmetic procedures are typically not covered by insurance. Contact Us to receive information about our fees or any additional information.

Financing Options
Payment for cosmetic services is required in advance. In addition to Visa and Mastercard we also provide a variety of financing options including direct banking associations or other Cosmetic based financing companies.
