Microdermabrasion

We use a crystal - free diamond tipped microdermabrasion wand attached to suction, to gently, yet effectively remove the outermost layer of dead skin. This completely non-invasive procedure can be done as regularly as every few weeks. Like any non-invasive procedure, the more microdermabrasions you have, the better result you get. Microdermabrasion leaves the skin feeling cleaner, softer and more rejuvenated. When the skin is exfoliated, new skin cells grow and move to the surface of the epidermis faster, renewing your skin and making it work harder for itself. The microdermabrasion procedure alone is approximately 30 minutes and consists of cleansing the skin, performing the microdermabrasion and applying calming, hydrating serums and a protective SPF. Microdermabrasion can also be added to a facial for the added benefit of deep exfoliation in a more in depth procedure (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes). Procedure
Microdermabrasion typically takes 30 minutes. The treatment series is customized to each patients' needs.
- The skin is gently cleansed.
- The esthetician runs a tube, which blows a powerful stream of exfoliative granules over the skin removing dry, dead skin cells.
- Once more the skin is cleansed and a hydrator is applied.
After the Procedure
You may experience slight reddening. This is perfectly normal and should subside within 24 hours. You may apply cosmetics immediately after the procedure.
Recovery
Patients are able to return to regular activity immediately after the procedure.
