- Bachelors of Science with major in Psychology and Minor in Business
- 10 years of experience in the Plastic Surgery Industry
Why drew you to this line of work?
Became my first job out of college and I fell in love with the industry and never wanted to get out.
Why did you choose your particular specialty?
I love helping be a part of a patient’s decision process to have cosmetic surgery.
What is the most rewarding thing about your job?
To interact with patients and help provide them with a positive experience and watch them transform and feel good about themselves again. There is nothing more rewarding than for a patient to ask to see me after just so they can come hug my neck and say, “OMG I’m so happy!” Or, “I’m so glad I made this decision.”Also, the group of physicians and staff here at MPS are truly amazing and special and make it so easy to want to be here.
Is there a patient that had a profound impact on you?
Here in Marietta over the past couple of years, I have been able to share many successful stories with patients. I have laughed with patients and I have cried with patients as they have trusted me enough to share their personal stories with me as well.
What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of work?
Walking and hiking when I have time, shopping without kids, pamper days for myself, traveling home to Charleston to catch up with family and friends.
Tell us about your family!
I have an awesome husband who is truly my teammate as we have moved away from family and been faced with the task of losing “our village.” We have three awesome boys Gauge, Slade, and Jensen. We also have a bloodhound (Mina) and a Siamese cat (Luna). Had to fit some girls in somewhere!
