Dr. Sneha Palmieri is the current Aesthetic Surgery Fellow at Marietta Plastic Surgery, where she builds upon her integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery training with focused experience in cosmetic procedures. She works directly with our surgeons, performs aesthetic cases, and contributes to the exceptional level of care our practice delivers across facial, breast, and body procedures.
Dr. Palmieri's Fellowship Role at Marietta Plastic Surgery
Dr. Palmieri joined Marietta Plastic Surgery as a fully trained plastic surgeon who had already completed an integrated plastic and reconstructive surgery residency. Her fellowship is a year of concentrated, hands-on aesthetic work that expands her experience beyond residency. At our practice, she performs cosmetic surgeries, assists with surgical cases, and evaluates patients during consultations.
She is drawn to aesthetic surgery because it uniquely combines technical precision, artistry, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients, and this day-to-day involvement allows her to approach each procedure with a strong technical foundation and an individualized, patient-centered approach.
Background and Foundational Training
Before joining Marietta Plastic Surgery, Dr. Palmieri completed extensive training across several respected institutions. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology and Spanish, graduating with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. She then attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Dr. Palmieri went on to complete her integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Throughout residency, she remained actively involved in clinical research, medical student education, and international humanitarian surgical outreach—experiences that reinforced her commitment to lifelong learning and patient-centered care. By the time she arrived at our practice, she was already a capable plastic surgeon with a strong foundation in reconstructive principles.

During her fellowship, Dr. Palmieri concentrates on three key areas:

Working alongside multiple surgeons within our practice allows her to compare methods, understand why certain techniques are selected, and apply those decisions to her own cases while remaining actively involved in education and academic collaboration.

Life Outside The Clinic
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Palmieri enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, hiking, and interior design, and spending time with her husband and their dog.
