What Is Sciton?

Sciton is an incredibly versatile platform that can be used to perform several different types of cosmetic laser treatments. These include BBL Hero, Forever Clear BBL, Forever Young BBL, Forever Bare BBL, Forever Body BBL, Halo fractional laser treatment, and the Contour TRL MicroLaserPeel.

BBL Hero

BBL Hero uses broadband light pulses to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections like redness, sun damage, acne, and pigmentation issues. The IPL treatment process only takes a half an hour, and three to five sessions are necessary for optimal results. Results will be visible in around five to seven days.

The versatility of the BBL Hero treatment allows for several additional types of BBL treatments. None of these BBL Hero treatment options require anesthesia of any kind.

Forever Clear BBL – Forever Clear BBL focuses on reducing acne breakouts, redness, and acne scars, restoring a clear complexion. Typically, this option only takes ten to fifteen minutes to perform and requires three to five treatment sessions. Results can be seen in five to seven days.

Forever Young BBL – The Forever Young BBL treatment rejuvenates sun-damaged skin, smoothing away age signs. Treatment sessions are very quick, taking only two to ten minutes total. Typically, patients come in for one to three sessions. Results appear in fourteen to twenty days.

Forever Bare BBL – Forever Bare BBL is the ideal hair-removal treatment option! This IPL treatment uses pulses of intense light to damage hair follicles, impairing their ability to grow new hairs. It can be used in a variety of areas, including the legs, underarms, abdomen, chest, chin, and neck.

Forever Bare can take around five minutes for small and precise areas, and it can take up to thirty minutes for larger areas. Typically, around three to five sessions are needed, and results can be seen in five to seven days.

Forever Body BBL – With Forever Body BBL, skin issues on all areas of the body can be addressed. These include sun damage, redness, and hyperpigmentation. Treatments only take two to ten minutes, and one to three sessions are recommended. Clients can expect results in anywhere from fourteen to twenty-one days.

Halo

Clients looking to address skin imperfections like acne scars, fine age lines, oversized pores, pigmented lesions, and sun damage often choose Halo fractional laser treatments. They are safe for many skin tones, and even clients with dark brown or black skin can come in for this treatment during winter months.

Fractional lasers are emitted in microscopic beams, treating tiny sections of the skin while avoiding other sections. This ensures a faster healing process, since the untouched areas aid in healing.

Before a treatment session, it’s best to avoid sun exposure for two to four weeks and to not apply tanning creams. Sessions take fifteen to thirty minutes and begin with application of a topical numbing cream for client comfort. After this, the laser handpiece is used to treat the targeted areas evenly. Usually, only one to two sessions are needed. Results can be seen in one week.

Contour TRL – MicroLaser

The Contour TRL (Tuneable Resurfacing Laser) is used to perform the MicroLaserPeel. This erbium laser skin-resurfacing option provides a deep peel that doesn’t rely on chemicals to achieve results. Instead, laser energy is used to achieve impressive peeling results.

The MicroLaserPeel requires less downtime than CO2 laser skin resurfacing while offering improved benefits. It resolves dullness, an uneven complexion, hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, rough texture, scarring, and wrinkles.

After a topical numbing cream is applied, the MicroLaserPeel is performed. The process takes fifteen to forty-five minutes. After the treatment, the skin will gradually peel, revealing fresh new skin cells without imperfections.
