What Is Renuvion?
Renuvion treatments use radiofrequency (RF) energy and helium plasma to tighten and lift skin on the face, neck, breasts, abdomen, arms, knees, thighs, and buttocks. This treatment can be used as an alternative to a surgical lift or to complement other procedures like liposuction.
The Renuvion Procedure
The Renuvion procedure is performed in our office. We will administer local anesthesia, make a series of small incisions in the treatment region, and insert the Renuvion device under the skin. The Renuvion wand will release a regulated stream of helium plasma and radiofrequency energy into the connective tissue, causing it to heat and contract quickly.
Collagen production is also stimulated. The treatment process generally takes between 45 minutes and one and a half hours to complete.
