Marietta Plastic Surgery is now offering online consultations and follow ups via Doxy. With virtual consulting, you can gather facts, ask questions, and voice your concerns confidentially through Doxy. This gives patients the opportunity to get to know their plastic surgeon and receive professional opinions and options regarding your plastic surgery questions.
For the safety of our patients and staff, we are encouraging virtual appointments whenever possible.
Instructions for Virtual/Online Appointments
Schedule your appointment
You will then receive two separate emails:
- Email 1 will prompt you to complete your TouchMD account- this is where you find consents and the option to upload photos prior to your virtual/online appointment. Consents and photos should be completed prior to the day of your appointment. If you need further instruction on how to complete/access your TouchMD account, please click here
- Email 2 will contain a link for you virtual/online appointment- this email you do not need to access until the day/time of your appointment.
At the time of your appointment click on the virtual/online appointment link mentioned above (you may do this from a phone, iPad/tablet, or a computer containing a camera/webcam)
Enter your name at the Doxy Welcome screen
Enable camera and microphone
You will then be placed in our “virtual waiting room”. Please keep this screen open. When we are ready to be with you, your virtual session will begin!
You will receive a Welcome Email from Touch MD
At the bottom of the email there will be a “login” button- click this to create a password and finalize your account. Your username is your email.
You will be given an option at the top of your browser to download the Touch MD app- we highly recommend this as this software will be our primary source of communicating with you.
Once logged in you can use the “drop down” menu at the top right of the screen to view our services, add photos, and update your profile. The main screen, also called the “timeline”, contains any consents that need signed, documents that need reviewed, and any photos that have been uploaded either by your or our staff.
Click the “drop down” menu at the top right of the screen
Select “add photo”
“Agree” to the terms and conditions
Tap the “grey box” to either take a photo or a choose a previously taken photo
Once you have taken or selected a photo, you can “title” the photo if desired
You are finished and should see the photo(s) under the “gallery” tab on your main screen/timeline.
