I was a licensed esthetician for 15+ years. I worked at MPS for 10 years before returning to nursing school.

What drew you to this line of work?:
I’ve always been interesting in nursing and working at MPS sparked my interest in surgery specifically.
Why did you choose your particular specialty?:
I love the satisfaction of surgery. Whether correcting or enhancing, patients are happy to wake up with their “improvements.”
What is the most rewarding thing about your job?:
Providing comfort, guidance, and education to my patients, both before and after surgery
What are your hobbies and/or interests outside of work?:
I love playing with my kids and reading when I have time. I also enjoy listening to crime podcasts!
Tell us about your family, pets, or loved ones:
I have a nine-year-old daughter and two-year-old twin boys. We also have two cats, a dog, and four goldfish so it’s a full house!
