Wide nostrils can also be refined, though this is a more complicated process. The result will be a narrower base of the nose, leading to a more refined shape.
If your nose appears thick because your skin is thick, you may be limited in what you can accomplish. It is possible to thin the skin with a process known as “defatting,” when the subcutaneous fat is removed. However, the procedure is risky and often results in poor cosmetic results.
