Marietta Plastic Surgery Now Offering Innovative Sientra Breast Implants
The plastic surgeons of Marietta Plastic Surgery recently announced they are the first Georgia plastic surgical practice to use the newly FDA-approved Sientra breast implants. Approved in March 2012 and offered only to board certified plastic surgeons, Sientra’s Silimed® brand silicone breast implants have been in use for decades outside of the US and are entering a domestic market traditionally served by two dominant players.
According to the company, until now and in contrast to the rest of the world, the only US-approved breast implants have been round in shape. Sientra breast implants give patients a variety of shapes and sizes, focusing on profile, proportion and projection. Options include round, oval and classic, allowing patients a more customized result.
