Reese’s MaGIC Fund:

In honor of her daughter Reese, Jenn Hobby, a local radio personality on Star 94.1, set out to support the work of her life-saving oncologist, Dr. Thomas Olson. She did this by creating Reese’s MaGIC fund which has raised more than $150,000 in just two short years.

This money goes  to support Dr. Olson’s international efforts with germ cell tumor research and solid tumor research at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.

The Malignant Germ Cell Tumor International Consortium or MaGIC for short, is a group of 32 physicians from 9 different countries with various specialties who have come together to advance the advance the treatment of germ cell tumors. Together the MaGIC Consortium has accomplished more strategic targeting of treatment to germ cell tumors and has opened three new clinical trials internationally.

Through annual events and a successful Click 4 Kids page, Reese’s MaGIC Fund will continue to make an impact on Germ Cell Tumor research.
